1. Introduction
AK LEADS LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Marketing App ("the App"), a marketing tool that integrates with Meta's Marketing API. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
This Privacy Policy also applies to other applications operated by AK LEADS LLC that integrate with Meta's APIs; in that case, references to "the App" apply to each such application.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.
2. Information We Collect
Facebook/Meta Data: When you connect your Meta account to our App, we may access the following information through Meta's APIs, depending on the App and the permissions you grant:
- Advertising account information and identifiers
- Business Manager account data
- Campaign performance metrics and analytics
- Ad spend and budget information
- Audience insights and demographic data (aggregated)
- Where applicable, business user information — the names, email addresses, and roles of people who are members of your Business Managers — used only to display and manage who has access to which ad accounts
- Authentication data — the Meta access token(s) you authorize, used to make API requests on your behalf
Usage Data: We may collect information about how you access and use the App, including your device type, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on pages. This data is collected through third-party analytics services.
3. Meta Permissions We Use
Our Apps request only the permissions necessary for their functionality. Depending on the App, these may include:

An individual App may request only a subset of these permissions, or additional permissions necessary for its specific functionality. We do not request permissions we do not need.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To analyze advertising performance and generate actionable insights
- To make data-driven decisions for advertising campaigns
- To improve and optimize the functionality of our App
- To monitor and analyze usage patterns and trends
- Where an App provides such features, to perform account-management actions you initiate (for example, updating an ad account's name or managing a member's access to ad accounts)
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Important: The Marketing App is currently used for internal business purposes by AK LEADS LLC. We do not store personal data of external users on our servers.
5. Data Storage and Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect the information we access through our App. These measures include:
- Secure access controls and authentication
- Encryption of data in transit
- Treating access tokens as sensitive credentials that are not shared
- Regular security assessments and updates
- Limited access to authorized personnel only
Data accessed through Meta's APIs is used for the purposes described in this Policy and is handled in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and Data Use Policies.
6. Cookies and Third-Party Services
Our App may use the following third-party services for analytics and performance monitoring. These services may set cookies and collect device, browser, and usage information:
- Google Analytics: To analyze App usage patterns
- Microsoft Clarity: To understand user behavior and improve user experience
- Google Tag Manager: To manage and deploy analytics tags

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may disclose information only in the following circumstances:

- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice provided to affected users
8. Data Retention
We retain Meta data only as long as needed to provide the App. Data accessed or cached by the App, and the access token used to authenticate, are kept until you disconnect your Meta account, remove the App, or request deletion — at which point the data is deleted, typically within 30 days. We may retain limited records where required by law.
9. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You may request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@akleads.com
- Data Export: You may export data you have downloaded and analyzed through the App
- Withdraw Consent: You may disconnect your Meta account from our App at any time. You can also revoke access at Meta through your Facebook settings → Business Integrations (or your Business Manager → Connected apps)
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@akleads.com. We will respond and, where applicable, delete the associated data and confirm, typically within 30 days.
10. Meta Platform Compliance
Our use of information received from Meta APIs adheres to Meta's Platform Terms and Policies, including:
- We only request permissions necessary for the App's functionality
- We do not use Meta data for purposes unrelated to the App's core functionality
- We do not transfer Meta data to third parties except as permitted by Meta's policies
- We delete Meta data when you disconnect your account or upon your request
11. Children's Privacy
The Marketing App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
