Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 24, 2026 · Last Updated: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AK LEADS LLC handles information in connection with the website at akleads.com. Please read it together with Section 2, which sets out precisely what this Policy does and does not cover.
1. Who We Are
AK LEADS LLC ("AK LEADS," "we," "our," or "us") is a performance lead-generation company. We buy media on our own behalf and operate our own advertising accounts across channels including Meta, Instagram, Native, YouTube, Pinterest, TikTok and Google Ads.
For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), AK LEADS LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this Policy. You can reach us at privacy@akleads.com.
2. Scope of This Policy
This Policy applies to the website located at akleads.com, including all pages served from that domain, and to business correspondence you send to us at the email addresses published on this site.
This Policy does not apply to the following, each of which is governed by its own separate notice:
- The Marketing App and our other Meta-integrated applications. These are covered by the Marketing App Privacy Policy, the Marketing App Terms of Service, and the Data Deletion Instructions.
- Advertising campaigns and landing pages operated on other domains. Where we run marketing campaigns on separately branded websites, the privacy notice published on that website governs information collected there, and it is presented to you at the point of collection.
- Third-party websites and services that we link to, including the advertising platforms on which we buy media. Their own policies apply to their processing of your information.
If you are unsure which notice applies to information you have provided, contact us at privacy@akleads.com and we will direct you to the correct one.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide to us
This website contains no forms, no sign-up flow and no user accounts. The only way to transmit information to us through it is to email one of the published addresses. If you do, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your name, your email address, your company, and the contents of your message and any attachments.
3.2 Information collected automatically
Like any website, this site is delivered by a hosting and network provider that keeps operational server logs. Those logs may record your IP address, the date and time of your request, the page or file requested, the referring URL, and your browser and operating system as reported by your user agent. This information is generated by the act of requesting a web page and is used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability. Our hosting and content delivery provider is Cloudflare, Inc., which processes this data as our service provider.
4. What This Website Does Not Do
We consider the following to be part of the Policy and not marketing language. As of the Last Updated date above, akleads.com:
- sets no cookies of its own and no third-party cookies;
- runs no analytics package, no session recording and no heat-mapping;
- carries no advertising pixels, conversion tags, tag managers or remarketing scripts;
- runs no JavaScript at all, and therefore performs no client-side tracking, fingerprinting or profiling;
- loads no remote images or embedded third-party content. The only external request the site makes is to Google Fonts, which serves the typeface used across the site and receives your IP address in order to do so, subject to the Google Privacy Policy;
- does not collect special categories of personal data, and does not knowingly collect information from children;
- does not sell or share personal information, and does not use personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
If we introduce analytics or any other tracking technology to this website in future, we will update this Policy and the Last Updated date before doing so.
5. How We Use Information
We use the limited information described in Section 3 for the following purposes only:
- to read, respond to and follow up on correspondence you send us;
- to conduct and administer our business relationship with you or the company you represent;
- to operate, secure and maintain the availability of this website, including detecting and preventing abuse, and investigating suspected fraud or unauthorised access;
- to comply with applicable law, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not use the information described in Section 3 to build marketing profiles, and we do not send unsolicited marketing email to addresses that contact us.
6. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) — in responding to correspondence, operating and securing our website, and conducting our business. We have assessed that these interests are not overridden by your rights, given the very limited nature of the data involved.
- Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) — where our correspondence relates to a contract with you or steps taken at your request prior to entering one.
- Compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)) — where we are required to retain or disclose information by law.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information. We disclose it only as follows:
- Service providers. Our hosting, content delivery and email providers process information on our behalf, under contract, and only on our instructions.
- Professional advisers. Our lawyers, accountants and auditors, where necessary and subject to duties of confidentiality.
- Legal requirements. Where required by applicable law, subpoena, court order or governmental request, or where necessary to protect our rights, property or safety, or those of others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of all or part of our business, in which case we will require the recipient to honour this Policy or provide notice of any change.
8. International Transfers
AK LEADS LLC is established in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your information will be transferred outside your jurisdiction. Where such transfers involve personal data protected by the GDPR, we rely on appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or on a derogation under Article 49 where applicable, such as the transfer being necessary for the performance of a contract or for the establishment or defence of legal claims.
9. Data Retention
We retain business correspondence for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was sent and for our ordinary business record-keeping, and thereafter for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and limitation-period rules. Server logs are retained for a short operational period, generally not exceeding twelve months, and are then deleted or aggregated into non-identifying statistics. We delete information sooner where you ask us to and we have no overriding legal obligation to keep it.
10. Security
We maintain technical and organisational measures appropriate to the limited nature of the information we hold, including encryption of data in transit, access controls and authentication on the systems where correspondence is stored, and restriction of access to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive personal information to us by unencrypted email.
11. Your Privacy Rights
11.1 If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
Subject to the conditions and exemptions in applicable law, you have the right to request access to your personal data; to request correction of inaccurate data; to request erasure; to request restriction of processing; to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests; to receive your data in a portable format; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
11.2 If you are a California resident
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, the sources it came from, the purposes for collecting it and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed; the right to request deletion; the right to request correction; and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of the use of sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under sixteen years of age. In the preceding twelve months, the only categories of personal information collected through this website are identifiers and internet or other electronic network activity information, as described in Section 3, collected for the business purposes described in Section 5.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. You may use an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf, in which case we may require proof of the agent's authority and verification of your own identity.
11.3 If you are a resident of another US state with a comprehensive privacy law
Residents of states including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana have comparable rights of access, correction, deletion, portability and opt-out, together with a right to appeal a refusal of a request. We honour those rights on the same terms set out in this Section. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision, and we will respond to the appeal within the period required by your state's law.
11.4 How to exercise your rights
Send your request to privacy@akleads.com. We may ask for information sufficient to verify your identity and to locate the records you are asking about; we use that information only for verification. We will acknowledge your request and respond within the period required by the applicable law, which is generally thirty days for GDPR requests and forty-five days for requests under US state privacy laws, subject to any permitted extension of which we will notify you.
12. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Because this website does not sell or share personal information and sets no cookies or tracking technologies, there is no sale, sharing or targeted advertising for an opt-out preference signal to act upon. We honour the Global Privacy Control signal to the extent it applies to any processing we carry out. This website does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, as no uniform standard for doing so has been adopted.
13. Children's Privacy
This website is directed to businesses and business professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of eighteen. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@akleads.com and we will delete it promptly.
14. Third-Party Links
This website links to pages operated by third parties, including Google and Meta policy pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. We encourage you to read the privacy notice of any site you visit.
15. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the Effective Date and Last Updated date at the top. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention. Your continued use of this website after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
